Acceptable use
This policy says what LogicBoostKit Media may not be used for. It is part of the Terms of service and applies to everyone who uses an account or one of its keys.
What you process
Do not use the service to process, store or pass on:
- content that is illegal to hold or distribute where you are, where we are, or where it is going;
- content you have no right to process, including content that infringes someone else’s copyright or privacy;
- files made to harm the systems that read them.
The job sandbox
Each job runs FFmpeg in its own sandbox, with only the files of that job. The API refuses options and filters that read or write outside the job’s folder or open the network; the documentation lists them. Do not:
- try to get around those refusals, or to break out of the sandbox;
- try to reach other systems, ours or anyone else’s, through FFmpeg options, filters, input URLs or webhook URLs;
- try to read another account’s files, jobs or keys.
Load
The limits keep the service stable for everyone. Do not try to get around them, for example by spreading one workload over several accounts, and do not send traffic meant to overload or disrupt the service.
Accounts and keys
Do not use a key or an account that isn’t yours to use, and do not sign up with details that aren’t yours.
What we do about it
We do not watch what you process. Our logs hold no file names, URLs or options. We act on reports, and on what the service itself shows us: load, errors and refused requests.
If an account breaks this policy we may refuse its requests, suspend it, or close it, as the Terms of service describe. We do so without notice when waiting would put the service or other people at risk. Where the law requires it, we report illegal content to the authorities.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse of the service, or content you believe breaks this policy, write to contact [at] logicboostkit [dot] com. Say what you saw and, if you have it, the request id.
