# LogicBoostKit Media > FFmpeg and ffprobe over HTTP: a pay-as-you-go media processing API. Base URL: https://media.logicboostkit.com. Authenticate every request with the header `Authorization: Basic `; keys are created in the console after sign-up. Price: USD 0.01332 per GB-second, where GB-seconds are (input GB + output GB) × processing seconds. - Billing: only processing and probe requests that succeed are charged. Failed, rejected, rate-limited, timed-out and cancelled requests, and file and directory calls, cost nothing. - What is kept: files live in directories that are deleted 24 hours after they are created (7 days at most). After that, one billing line per charged request remains, with no file names. - Limits: 5 GB per file, 300 requests a minute per key, 50 jobs at once per account, 60 min per job. ## Docs - [Overview](https://media.logicboostkit.com/docs.md): How to run FFmpeg and ffprobe over HTTP: the base URL, the API key, a quick start from upload to download, and every endpoint. - [Authentication](https://media.logicboostkit.com/docs/authentication.md): Authenticate FFmpeg API requests with a key in the Authorization header: the key format, expiry, revocation and the errors you may meet. - [Switching from ffmpeg-api.com](https://media.logicboostkit.com/docs/switching.md): What changes when you move from ffmpeg-api.com: the base URL and the key.
